Phacil Announces Cooperation Agreement with Veritone

Mc Lean, Virginia — July 11, 2018 — Phacil, Inc. (“Phacil”), a Federal & Defense IT solutions provider, announces today an agreement with Veritone®, Inc. (“Veritone”) to further Phacil’s Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) capabilities in service to the U.S. Federal Government. Under the agreement, Phacil will deliver Veritone’s aiWARE™ to federal customers, bringing the ability to securely and efficiently search, organize, correlate,  share, and deliver unprecedented context  for video, audio, photos and other content sources to government customers.

Veritone’s aiWARE, an operating system for AI, provides an ecosystem of in-house and partner- developed cognitive AI engines and applications. Through its proprietary technology, Veritone’s aiWARE orchestrates multiple AI engines together, delivering greater accuracy than can be produced by any single cognitive engine. As a result, it enables organizations to more effectively process, manage, and exploit large unstructured data sets, including audio, video and   image  files. As organizations continue to gather and store more data – often unstructured and difficult to index – it becomes too onerous to manually analyze in a reasonable timeframe. The aiWARE operating system for AI delivers a solution for every step of the way from data ingestion through analysis and reporting. It adds relevant context to data from public and private libraries and provides intelligence to drive agency responses and workflows.

The amount of exponential growth in unstructured data collected today is only surpassed by the potential value of drawing meaningful  intelligence  from  big  data  challenges.  This  agreement  will deliver the compute capabilities through a full range of technical and professional services to provide custom and fully operational solutions. Phacil intends to develop and integrate front-end applications, engines and connections to  multiple  data  streams  on  the  aiWARE  operating  system to support the growing needs of federal IT. Available in the FedRAMP Marketplace, the robust nature of  aiWARE makes it easy for Phacil to  develop  applications  leveraging  hundreds   of AI engines, bringing more intelligence and transparency to petabytes of usable data.

“We are very excited about this alliance with Veritone. We have continued to hone our AI capabilities across several agencies and believe that Veritone’s aiWARE has a proven track record of outperforming existing single-point AI solutions in use today and will enable Phacil to deliver more effective user-focused managed services, data management and expedited  software engineering capabilities,” said Tom Shoemaker, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phacil.

“Veritone provides a trusted operating system for AI to empower organizations, across private and public sectors, to get the most out of their data, and do so in a programmatic and automatic way that improves workflows altogether,” said Eric Hansen, VP, Federal at Veritone. “We’re delighted to join forces with Phacil and help their Federal customers increase operational and data management efficacy.”
