Phacil, an award winning company delivering leading technology solutions to the Federal Government, has been awarded a contract with FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division for an Electronic Departmental Order (eDO) study.
The CJIS Division’s goal is to provide timely, accurate, and relevant criminal justice information, and strategically reduce the number of days to process a Departmental Order (DO). Phacil will perform studies for the eDO improvement project, including reviewing and refining the eDO Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and developing Use Cases, System Requirements Specification (SRS), and preliminary Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Brian Dosch, Program Manager at Phacil noted that, “This improvement project of the eDO will increase efficiency by allowing individuals the ability to request criminal history on the Internet. We are excited for this opportunity to bring our scope of knowledge to the FBI to help enhance the eDO business process.”
