Phacil Secures ISO 27001 Certification

< Back to news

Phacil, an award-winning company delivering leading technology solutions to the Federal Government, announced that it has obtained its ISO 27001:2005 certification – the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

ISO 27001 identifies and provides the framework for a technology- and vendor-neutral ISMS that enables an organization to assure itself that it has effective information security processes in place. These processes enable the preservation of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Phacil’s own information and that of its stakeholders, as well as our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

“As an information technology company, it is critical that we organize and monitor our security controls to safeguard our customer’s information,” said Brian Edwards, Phacil’s Chief Technology Officer. “This ISO 27001 certification demonstrates the emphasis we place on the confidentiality and security of our government customers’ electronic data and our level of commitment to implementing the toughest security controls. Being endorsed by an independent certifying organization offers further peace of mind to our customers.”

Bianca Berrios, Phacil Director of Quality Assurance, added, “We are committed to service, quality and excellence in all operations. The ISO 27001 certification signifies our effort to deliver the highest levels of service, confidentiality, and information security our customers have come to expect from Phacil.”
