Phacil, a leading provider of technology solutions to the Federal Government, was pleased to donate support as a sponsor in the 6th annual Washington DC Metro Congenital Heart Walk (CHW), held on April 25, 2015.

The CHW is a national fundraising event series benefitting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF). Phacil has had a long-standing commitment to the community, particularly causes which focus on children.

“Our support of the Congenital Heart Walk is a demonstration of our commitment to the children in our communities,” said Phacil CEO, Tom Shoemaker. “We feel that it is important to contribute to this event because congenital heart disease is an often overlooked cause, yet thousands of babies are born each year with the disease. We feel that it’s our civic duty to assist the ACHA and CHF in their research and patient assistance efforts.”

Funds raised support both the ACHA and CHF. Both organizations further research to improve patient outcomes and improve the quality of life for those impacted by CHD. Since 2010, the CHW has raised more than $4 million. For more information visit,
