Phacil, a leading provider of technology solutions to the Federal Government, announced a contract win with the US Transportation Command’s (TRANSCOM) Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC) Activities World-wide. The Company will provide Enterprise Information Technology (IT) onsite support and services for all locations throughout the US and Germany.
On this performance-based contract, Phacil will provide specific services that include: Information Assurance; Content/Knowledge Management; Help Desk and Customer Support; Video Teleconferencing Support and Multimedia Support; Research and Development, Application Development and Database Administration; System Administration, Operations and Maintenance; Network Infrastructure Engineering and Support; and Web Support.

SDDC is the Army Service Component Command of US TRANSCOM and is a major subordinate command to Army Materiel Command. This relationship links US TRANSCOM’s Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise and AMC’s Materiel Enterprise. The command also partners with the commercial transportation industry as the coordinating link between DOD surface transportation requirements and the capability industry provides.
