Tom serves as Phacil’s Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As such, he is responsible for advancing the business by driving operational excellence and technology innovation. Tom’s illustrious career includes 20 years in executive management and technical positions with communications and information technology companies. He co-founded DisasterSOS, a leading provider of next-generation, on-demand Disaster Management Services. Prior to DisasterSOS, he was President and CEO of Send Word Now, an on-demand emergency alerting and response service. Tom also served as Executive Vice President of Business Development at ITXC Corp, a VoIP network communications carrier and Vice President and General Manager of AT&T WorldNet Service. He also spent several years at AT&T Bell Labs where he focused on network operation systems and software architecture assignments, working on large government contracts, including some for the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Postal Service, and the Department of Defense. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Manhattan College, a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and an Executive MBA from The University of Michigan School Of Business. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society
Mehdi serves as Phacil’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Chief Operating Officer (COO). As such, he is responsible for all aspects of financial and administrative affairs of the corporation. Prior to being named to this position, Mehdi served as the Vice President of Finance and M&A, then the Vice President and Corporate Controller of PAE. Prior to joining PAE, Mehdi held various leadership positions including Senior Director of FP&A at URS Corporation and mergers and acquisitions professional with PwC and KPMG’s Transactions and Restructuring practices. Mehdi was involved in more than 60 M&A deals up-to $12 billion in purchase price. Mehdi also played a key role in several financing deals. Mehdi is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the Aix-en-Provence Institute of Technology in Aix-en-Provence, France and graduated from the Toulouse Business School in Toulouse, France
