Phacil Wins USAF Cyber Operations Support Contract< Back to news
Phacil, an industry-leading provider of mission-focused, results-driven technology solutions to the federal government, announced a new contract with the US Air Force’s Air National Guard (ANG) providing computer network defense and IT project integration support. Phacil will have a team of highly qualified IT engineers embedded in network operations at McConnell AFB in Kansas.
The work involves interfacing with primary ANG customers at 90+ Communications Focal Points or Network Control Centers. The ANG operates an Integrated Network Operations and Security Center (I-NOSC), which provide defensive cyberspace operations and general network operations (NETOPS) support for the ANG Enterprise Network (ANGEN). The ANGEN is a sub-enclave to the United States Air Force provisioned portion of the Global Information Grid (GIG) or DoD Information Network (DODIN).
“It is critical that ANG maintains well-trained, well-equipped units available for prompt mobilization during war and national emergencies,” said Phacil Vice President of Operations, Arman Afsar. “We look forward to assisting the Air National Guard with the capabilities necessary to guard America at home and defend freedom worldwide.“
