Community Commitment
We believe it is part of our responsibility to support our local communities and our country.  Phacil starts with our employees.  Phacil offers a generous compensation package that includes liberal paid time off, short term disability, life insurance, and an employee assistance program. What’s more, Phacil is strongly committed to the professional growth and career development of employees and offers an education reimbursement benefit, various training opportunities and mentoring throughout one’s career.  Phacil’s professional development program advances the Company’s philosophy to promote from within whenever possible.  Indeed, Phacil’s entire senior management team represents this ethos – they rose up through the organization as billable employees.  In addition, Phacil’s recruitment process is such that we actively, and successfully, recruit and retain minorities, veterans, and women. The numbers tell the story of that commitment:  60% of senior managers are minorities or veterans and 20% are women. Phacil’s truly diverse workforce provides the Company with an extraordinary pool of talented and innovative professionals. Phacil’s investment in employees’ well-being, both personally and professionally, represents the Company’s unflagging commitment to healthy and thriving communities and country.

Non Profit and Community Outreach
Phacil has been a consistent financial contributor to nonprofit organizations, particularly those that focus on education and professional development among minorities and at-risk youth who show leadership potential.  For the past few years, Phacil has been a strong supporter of two organizations in particular:  SummerSearch and De La Salle Academy.

SummerSearch

Summer Search
www.summersearch.org. The mission of Summer Search is to find resilient low-income high school students and inspire them to become responsible and altruistic leaders by providing year-round mentoring, life-changing summer experiences, college advising, and a lasting support network.

Through partnerships with high schools, universities, and corporate employers, Summer Search provides low-income high school students with a combination of full scholarships to summer experiential education programs, intensive long-term mentoring, private college and financial aid counseling, and ongoing professional development resources.

De La Salle Academy

De La Salle Academy
www.delasalleacademy.com. De La Salle Academy is a private, independent, non-sectarian middle school located in Manhattan. The school's student body includes youngsters from all five boroughs of New York City. De La Salle is the only private, independent school in New York City for academically talented, economically disadvantaged boys and girls in grades six through eight. Their admissions policy is need-blind; each year they need to raise over 80% of the school's annual budget from sources other than tuition. Since its inception, De La Salle has provided and continues to provide gifted, underprivileged adolescents the spiritually nurturing and academically challenging environment they need to ensure bright futures.

Summer Search:
Phacil’s involvement with Summer Search has extended past financial.  Our San Francisco office has sponsored and hosted various workshops for Summer Search alumni on how to interview successfully and get hired.  Phacil also provides paid summer internship programs for Summer Search students.
