 Phacil, Inc., an award-winning, ISO 9001:2008 registered Government Contractor, announced today its award win in the General Services Administration (GSA) Interagency Management Council awards for Group Technical Excellence.
The award recognizes innovative use of GSA/FAS/ITS provided contracts and services. The award was based on significance of the effort, impact on service to the public, impact on the mission of the organization, improvements to operations or management productivity, cost and resource effectiveness of the effort, significance of cost savings and/or benefits, long-range impact, and benefit to other organizations.
Phacil is being recognized for its Web-Based Information System Support (WISS) work on a GSA Schedule 70 contract with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Phacil’s accomplishments include its flawless migration of MDA’s servers and reduction in resolution time of support requests to 2-5 days, down from as long as 120 days.

Because we couldn’t name all 39 team members for the award nomination, we narrowed the list down to 12 key members. However, the team could not have accomplished all that it has done for the last two years without every individual member and for that we applaud and thank everyone on the Phacil MDA WISS team.”

Phacil will be honored at an Awards Luncheon during the GSA Network Services Conference at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, FL, on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.
